There are other ways to tether without rooting your phone if this does not work. Try downloading easy tether off the android market and follow the easy instructions. If you have ever had a Blackberry, it works exactly like that.

I rooted HTC EVO last year and found this app on market and it has worked great. Just upgraded to Samsung Galaxy Touch S11 and rooted but couldnt find app in market. Found online and downloaded but not working. any help would be great. I allow superuser and granted but errors show loading WIFI driver???
